About us
Our mission at AlphaBee is to provide quality evidence-based behaviour programs and services to children and youth with autism and other developmental exceptionalities through direct services, training of family members and consultation to the community. AlphaBee Centre is a positive experience for both children and staff, providing optimal learning opportunities for children and youth utilizing an individualized, creative and multi-modal approach, whilst embracing technology to enhance teaching and learning.

At AlphaBee, we believe that:
  1. Every child has the potential to learn and develop skills beyond their current level.
  2. Children and youth of all ages can benefit from the application of Applied Behaviour Analysis in expanding their skill sets but also addressing the behavioural obstacles to learning which often impede full community participation.
  3. Our teaching needs to be data driven and evidence based.
  4. Communication skills are critical in enabling inclusion and participation in educational and community activities.
AlphaBee offers treatment centres in Etobicoke and Hamilton and home based IBI in the GTA, Peel, Halton, York regions and the City of Hamilton. Although existing as part of its’ sister company, wm+a, since 2005, AlphaBee was launched in 2007 as a separate and independent entity, opening up our first treatment Centre in Toronto, Ontario. AlphaBee Centre is housed in a 4500 square foot facility, offering children space for both individualized instruction as well as group activities.

Currently AlphaBee services children who are both Ministry approved through the IBI initiative (DFO) as well as privately funded children. Children who are funded privately include those who do not meet the criteria for funding, are on wait list, children who have been discharged from IBI, or other exceptional circumstances.
