What is AlphaBee's Specialized Behaviour Services (SBS)?
AlphaBee offers customised Specialized Behaviour Services for children and youth on the autism spectrum, focusing on positive behaviour support strategies tailored to individual needs.
Our evidence-based programs aim to facilitate lasting behaviour changes and skill development through a person-centred approach, addressing interfering behaviours, emotional regulation, and essential life skills.

Goal:
This service is designed to effectively reduce interfering behaviours while building the essential skills needed for a safe and successful transition to school, community programs, or other ongoing services.
Our focus is on increasing stability, strengthening coping and replacement skills, and creating a clear pathway forward so your child can participate more confidently across environments.
This is the right service if your child is:
- Your child is engaging in behaviours that significantly interfere with learning, school participation, community involvement, or ABA sessions
- There are safety concerns at home, school, or in the community
- Behaviour intensity or frequency has increased and requires structured clinical intervention
- Your family needs a focused, stabilization plan before transitioning to another service model
- Your child is stepping down from Urgent Response Services and requires continued structured support
Program duration:
- 12 weeks
Minimum hours:
- 2 hours x 2 sessions weekly (1 hour indirect per session)
Locations:
- Centre-based: Hamilton, Etobicoke, Scarborough
- Home-based options (pre-approval required)
Costs:
- Centre-Based: $150 per session
- Home-Based: $170 per session
Goal:
This service focuses on meaningful skill development, helping your child build real-life abilities in a way that feels structured, supportive, and manageable. We target the areas that matter most right now — whether that’s increasing independence, strengthening social confidence, improving executive functioning, or preparing for the transition into the teen years. Our goal is to support steady, practical growth while ensuring progress feels sustainable for both your child and your family.
This is the right service if your child is:
- Your child no longer requires comprehensive ABA but still benefits from structured, goal-focused support
- You’re looking to build independence in specific areas of daily life (i.e.: sexual health, internet safety or homework support.)
- Your child would benefit from strengthening social, emotional, or executive functioning skills
- Your child is preparing for the transition into the teen years or adulthood
- Interfering behaviours are minimal and not significantly impacting learning or daily functioning
Program duration: Ongoing
Minimum hours:
- 1 hour/week direct service (30 mins indirect per session)
Locations:
- Centre-based: Hamilton, Etobicoke, Scarborough
- Remote/Online
Costs:
- Centre-Based: $125 per hour
- Remote/Online: $100 per hour
