Nicola MacDonald, MADS, BCBA, RBA (Ont) is a Clinical Supervisor and has been working with AlphaBee for over 11 years. Nicola has a Masters Degree in Applied Disability Studies with a Specialization in ABA from Brock University. Nicola received her Board Certified Behaviour Analyst certification in September 2011. Nicola began her career in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis as an Instructor Therapist in 2007, working prior in the field of Disabilities as a Developmental Service Worker. As a Senior Therapist Nicola’s role is to supervise Instructor Therapists in their direct implementation of ABA therapy. Nicola writes programs adapted to each child’s needs, trains staff on implementing programs, oversees data collections, collaborates with schools within multidisciplinary team meetings, and trains parents to ensure continuity and skill building. Nicola has worked extensively for years within the field of developmental disabilities with a particular focus on Verbal Behaviour. Nicola has experience within the implementation of skills building programs as well as behaviour reduction programs. Nicola is passionate about the field of ABA and it is her goal to help her clients achieve increased independence and ultimately a better quality of life. Nicola has presented at Special Education conferences focused on ABA. Nicola has also helped in the development and implementation of training workshops for parents.
