Shauna Vanderslot

Shauna Vanderslot, BA, BCaBA, is a senior therapist at AlphaBee, and a Board-Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst. Shauna has worked and volunteered within the autism community for over 10 years in a multitude of settings, including schools, camps, recreation programs, and ABA settings. Shauna has been with AlphaBee since August 2016, starting as an Instructor Therapist and moving to senior therapist in March of 2019. As a senior therapist, it is her role to complete assessments and reports, program for and oversee 1:1 sessions with clients, as well as support, train, and oversee ITs. Additionally, Shauna is responsible for IT recruitment and training at AlphaBee’s Hamilton branch. She conducts interviews, hires new staff, provides initial training, as well as supporting front-line staff with clinical skill development. She brings her experience and commitment to ABA, passion for working with children and teaching others, and creative teaching strategies to her role. Shauna’s time at AlphaBee has provided her with clinical experience in ABA, implementing strategies and programming with integrity, and growth as a practitioner. Shauna thoroughly enjoys working with our clients and their families, and looks forward to working with you!
